Welcome to Robinzonski Camp Brdo Zminjak, located in the civilized wilderness above the village of Jelenići, in the very heart of the Nature Park Žumberak - Samobor Hills.

The Idea and Vision

"One foggy and rainy day, at the end of the 90s, while wandering through Žumberak, I made my way through an overgrown path to Brdo Zminjak. At one point, a gap appeared in the clouds through which sunlight shone, and I felt its rays in my chest.

This sign and the boyhood dream of living in Žumberak led me to search for the ideal place where I wanted to settle. In that search, guided by some strange paths, it turned out that Brdo Zminjak was waiting just for me.

A piece of wilderness, a small tent, and I were the beginning of a pioneering, independent venture that continues to this day. Without water and electricity, deprived of every comfort, button, or electronics that makes everyday life easier, bound by a pile of laws, through many attempts and, of course, mistakes, I successfully built a concrete, functional, and safe little camp!

It is located in the very heart of Žumberak, above the village of Jelenići, where the crossroads lead to Krašić and Karlovac, the Samobor Hills and Samobor, Budinjak and Sošice, as well as to Bregana and Slovenia."
